Infrastructure Funding Statements

Each district planning authority is required to prepare a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) income report called an Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS).

Our unique CIL pooling arrangements do not concur with the requirement to report CIL allocations on a district-specific basis, because our partnership approach delivers infrastructure cross boundaries.

Instead, each planning authority publishes their own IFS confirming the income that has been received, and information regarding how CIL is spent is publicly reported within the joint Five Year Infrastructure Investment Plan (5YIIP) on an annual basis.
