New ferry service between Norwich city centre and Whitlingham Country Park

From Saturday, July 11, the Great Yare Company are extending their ferry service between Thorpe and Whitlingham to include Norwich railway station.

The ferry will run between Thorpe St Andrew and the city on a regular scheduled service six times a day, stopping at Whitlingham in both directions.

The 12 seat open ferry will take 16 minutes to travel downriver from Station Quay to Whitlingham Park, and a further 10 to get to Thorpe.
