South Norfolk Council have been credited in a press release from Alok Sharma, Minister of State for Housing and Planning and the Department for Communities and Local Government.
The number of new build homes that have started to be built has surged to the highest level since 2008, as shown by figures released on the 24 August 2017. South Norfolk has been one of the strongest performing local areas when it comes to delivering high levels of starts in housebuilding.

All of this relates directly to the Government’s Housing White Paper, which sets out new ambitious plans to enable more homes to be built in England, and the Greater Norwich Local Plan, which is a partnership approach between Broadland District Council, Norfolk County Council, Norwich City Council and South Norfolk Council to planning for future housing growth in the Greater Norwich area.
